With a voice you cannot forget and the gorgeous composition of his songs, twenty-two year old Canadian musician, Mark Wilson, is one to look out for. In the process of recording his first full-length album entitled Tents Of Dawson, Wilson and his accompanying band, The Last Dinosaur, are adding to the already immense collection of music coming out of Canada. Songs like "Stones and Stick" and "Blackout The Ballroom" are instrumentally rich, making excellent use of stringed instruments, but it's Wilson's quirky lyrics and crackling, green voice that render them remarkable. Each song sounds of bright, youthful creative meanderings and artistic experiments.It's clear that Neil Young has profoundly impacted Wilson: "I saw him perform for the first time when I was 16.
